We had not known about Directors Life Cover until speaking with Gillian. She explained it would protect the company and our families in the event of one of us dying.  She went onto explain that as there was just the two of us, and we held 50% shares each in the company we could put a life policy in place to cover the sale value of the company.

The accountant worked out the value of the business.  The life cover we put in place represented 50% of the value of this for each.  Gillian also provided us with a Buy/Sell agreement which is a legal agreement to ensure, in the event of our death,  the shares would automatically be sold back to the company from our spouses and our spouses would receive the  directors life cover proceeds tax free.

We can’t tell you how happy we were with the service, the cost and most importantly the knowledge that our business is safe and our families are taken care of should either of us die.

Sorry if its long winded,  but when we were asked to do the testimonial we wanted people to know about this and how it works, as we would still be unaware if Gillian hadn’t mentioned it.
